Der Soft Club ist eine lebendige Zusammenkunft und ein Raum, in dem Freude, Nähe und Gemeinschaft gedeihen. Er ist eine dynamische Mischung aus Treffpunkt und Club mit performativem Programm: die Tanzfläche erwacht zum Leben – sie ist Bühne für meditative, eindringliche Stille, Ort des Zuhörens aber auch aktiver Tanz-, Bewegungs- und Ausdrucksraum.

Zones:
"Finding the intuitive voice - that is the adventure at the core of ‚Zones' - we are tuning in, to an ever-present, ever-changing environment.“ - Free Play

Concept:
Zones takes an attempt to create an immersive journey of self-expression and exploration.  In public spaces like parties and clubs, we have all felt moments of disconnection, wishing for deeper connection to ourselves and also the people around us. Zones hijacks the notion of singular spaces, offering various environments where you're free to delve into the depths of movement expression. Through fabrics, the space at Volkskundemuseum will be dissected into different zones which are still connected and open, yet separated from one another. 
Each Zone within the event is dedicated to a theme or concept, creating a range of experiences that cater to different needs and moods. Feeling the big party vibes in one minute, exploring moments of dancing with yourself in the dark - Zones invites you to embrace the natural pull of your intuition. Throughout the event DJs (Kor1n & DJ Olinclusive) will create the soundscape of Zones and you are invited to let yourself be guided by their impulses. Surrendering to the moment means allowing yourself to be led through the Zones, whether taking initiative or letting go of control—it's your choice.#
One Zone will be  dedicated to food and juices with some light sweet and salty snacks as well as a savory dish provided by Xing and Malik.  Hospitality is a key understanding of “SoftClub” and therefore us, which we embrace through providing food and drinks for everyone who finds their way into Zones. 

Interactive Elements:
Should uncertainty arise during your journey through Zones, embrace it as an opportunity for growth. Our curated task box invites you to draw impulses that offer inspiration, encouraging engagement within the Zones and with fellow participants.
 
Cypher Exchange with Malik:
Inspired by the tradition of cyphers, where freestyle dance jams foster communal expression, Zones offers a curated exchange about „feeling safer in the cypher“ with Malik for dancers of all levels of experience. 
 
Safety Concept: 
During the Event, there will be an assigned Awareness Person throughout the event that you can reach out to whenever you experience or witness something that you want to talk about during the event. An extra zone further away from the music and dancing will give you the chance to retreat when feelings of overstimulation or other occur. This space focuses on community and a respectful way of treating each other. We don't tolerate any forms of -isms and will deal with incidents accordingly.

Jede der vier Ausgaben wird von verschiedenen Kollektiven und Künstler:innen kuratiert und zelebriert, die zusammen experimentieren und Räume entwerfen. Gemeinsam mit den Besucher:innen denken und feiern sie Politiken des Gastgebens und der Gastfreundschaft.
 
Der Soft Club ist inspiriert von „sober parties“ als politischer Praxis und findet am Samstagnachmittag bis zum frühen Abend statt. Dabei wird das Konzept von Clubs und Partys als ausschließlich nächtlicher Räume neu aufgegriffen und es werden andere Formen des Zusammenkommens, der Fürsorge und des Aufbaus von Gemeinschaften angeboten. In der Bipoc- und Queerszene, wurden Safer Spaces mit eigenen Codes of Conduct gegen Übergriffe und Diskriminierung entwickelt. Zu der dabei elaborierten Willkommens- und Feierkultur wird hier eingeladen.
