Susanne Brokesch (*1972 in Wien) ist eine österreichische Musikerin, Komponistin und DJ, die für ihre Verbindung von elektronischer Musik und klassischen sowie experimentellen Elementen bekannt ist. Unter Pseudonymen wie “Sil Electronics” und “DJ Sil” begann sie in den 1990er Jahren mit der Produktion eigener Stücke und trat als DJ auf. Ihr neues Album “Shallow Blues”, das im Oktober 2024 veröffentlicht wurde, kombiniert experimentelle elektronische Musik mit introspektiven, atmosphärischen Klängen. Brokeschs Arbeiten zeichnen sich durch die Verschmelzung von Ambient, Techno und klassischen Musikfragmenten aus.

Qow (Omar El Sadek, *Kairo, Ägypten) ist Musiker und Produzent und lebt derzeit in Prag. Seine Soloalben “Dawafer” (Genot Centre) und “ElMosameh Sherine” (Irsh) wurden von den Musikmagazinen The Wire und The Quietus für ihre Tiefe, Komplexität und poetischen Unvollkommenheiten gelobt. Er ist dafür bekannt, dass er in seiner visuellen Kunst das Handwerkliche mit dem Digitalen verbindet und hat unter Anderem bereits mit Drew McDowall, ZULI, MYSLMA und Pollution Opera an Musikvideos und Live-Performances zusammengearbeitet.

Susanne Brokesch (*1972 in Vienna) is an Austrian musician, composer and DJ who is known for her innovative combination of electronic music with classical and experimental elements. Under pseudonyms such as Sil Electronics and DJ Sil, she began producing her own tracks and performing as a DJ in the 1990s. Susanne Brokesch's new album Shallow Blues, released in October 2024, combines experimental electronic music with introspective, atmospheric sounds. Brokesch's work is characterised by the fusion of ambient, techno and classical music fragments.
